This year the AMA board of directors realized that with the changes we are seeing in our community and the world, that it is more imperative now than ever to bring the dreams of past directors to light. AMA has always been working toward providing a gymnasium to the program on the property adjacent to the ball fields at Copello park.
We have recently taken a number of steps to make these dreams a reality for our children and community at large. This new facility will encompass a gymnasium with team rooms, restrooms , and a snack bar. This facility will be able to be used for all sports typically played in a gymnasium setting.
We have also designed this facility to incorporate a banquet hall and a warming kitchen on a split level that will be able to be used for indoor or outdoor functions. It is an honor for this board of directors to be involved in pushing this project further down the road.
