Welcome
to the AMA Football and Cheer!
We’re
excited to have you join the AMA family! Our program
brings together boys and girls from communities
along the Highway 4 corridor—from Copperopolis
to Bear Valley—creating a strong, supportive
environment where athletes ages 5 to 14
can learn, grow, and compete. Our Football and Cheer
programs are run entirely by dedicated volunteers
who prioritize
fundamentals, teamwork, safety, and sportsmanship.
We take pride in developing well-rounded athletes
on and off the field.
Required
Registration Documents:
Copies of the athlete’s birth certificate
and report card must be uploaded during registration.
Practice
Details:
AMA teams typically practice three days a
week from 5:15 PM to 7:15 PM at Copello
Park (700 Copello Drive, Angels Camp).
Except practice weeks 1 and 2, practices are
Monday-Friday, then weeks 3 and 4 is Monday-Thursday.
The first
practice of the 2026 season begins Monday, July
20, 2026, and the season runs through mid-November.
Game
Schedule & Travel:
Games are on Saturdays. Throughout the season,
we travel to various locations in the Mother
Lode and Central Valley to compete.
AMA proudly participates in the Mother Lode
Valley Football League (MVFL).
